The first thing we find after entering the general wordPress settings is a box to enter the site title.

It is also important to highlight that, as far as possible, we are interested here to place keywords that have to do with our activity since the title will be seen on all the pages of our website.

Both users and Google can get a good idea of what the site is about. This field is complemented by the short description.

Short description

This description will also be seen on each page of our website. It is important that you use keywords related to your business or activity here. You can hide it or leave it visible, I recommend you complete it.

EMail address

Always use a valid email address that you use often.

Membership and new user default role

I advise you to leave blank the box for anyone can register. Users of the site may have different roles as author, administrator, subscriber, etc. Wordpress will limit each of them depending on their roles what they are allowed to do, within the site.

Site language

We can choose the default site language, a list of all countries is displayed.

The rest is very easy to complete according to our taste, such as timezone, date format, time format and week start.
