2. Guest Blog for Authority Sites
Guest blogging is when you post on other people’s blogs. What does this mean for link building?
The gist is that the blog owner will often send you 1-2 links to your site in exchange for the free article.
Finding guest blogs is one of the most challenging aspects of guest blogging. You can find sites that accept guest posts to increase your acceptance chances. These sites often use terms like the “Write for Us” or “Contribute” page. You can use Google’s Advanced Search Operators to find these sites.
Here are some key terms you might use to find guest blogging opportunities:
- [your_topic] "write to us"
- [your_topic] "become an author"
- [your_topic] "guest post"
- [your_topic] "guest article"
- [your_topic] inurl:contribute
Follow the instructions to submit your pitch. You can also explore guest blogging opportunities in Ahrefs Content Explorer.
To see a list of domains you could write for, click on the “One Domain per Article” box. To narrow down your list, you can add filters so you can only pitch blogs that you feel comfortable writing for.
These sites might not have a Write for Us page. If your pitch is strong enough, most blogs will allow you to write a guest article. You can find great topics for your pitch by focusing on topics that are popular on blogs or general topics.
Thank you for this info. I would like to ask you two questions If I link to a website, but it is not affiliate link, shall I use no-follow or not? In one if the trainings here it said yes. And the affiliate links should be no- follow or sponsored?
My second question. When I look at my website in google, uber suggest tells me I have 23 backlinks. However, when I check them, most of them look the same or similar by name (yamen women) and if I want to open the site, it says the site cant be reached. Would you know what it is and why there are those backlinks?
Thank you
Regards
