Upon activation, go to Settings => Mistape to access the plugin configuration page:
By default, you can choose users with admin and editor user roles to receive the notification emails about errors. Also, you'll be able to define any additional email addresses where you want to send those notifications. More than that, if there is a post ID determined, you can notify the post author too ...
Next, you need to select the content types where this feature will appear: post, pages and/or media.
And there is a shortcode option which will allow you to manually "enable" the feature on specific posts or pages. When this option is enabled, the Mistape listener works on all pages, not only on enabled content types. Otherwise, the plugin will automatically add a caption below any enabled content type to inform users that they can notify you about errors.
Finally, there are different options that will allow you to customize the caption shown to users ...
By default, the plugin will desplay a pre-defined text message which will be automatically translated if you are using Wordpress in languages other than English. If you want, you can define your own message ... Also, you can select an icon, a clor scheme, etc ...
And of course, don’t forget to save your settings ...
