Basically, the plugin will allow you to display pre-defined reaction buttons in your posts. As a result, the reader will be able to interact with you easier, without the hassle of writing a whole comment.

Upon activation, go to Settings => Reaction Buttons to access the plugin configuration page:


First of all, you need to check the "Show Reaction Buttons" checkbox to actually activate the plugin.

Next, you'll have to choose where you want the buttons to appear. Also, you can customize the text that will be displayed before the buttons and of course, the button labels you want to use. The default labels are "Awesome", "Interesting", "Useful", "Boring" and "Sucks" ...

And you'll see a bunch of other - very straightforward - options ...

OK. Now let's see the result ...

So from what I understand when people leave comments on your blog posts it helps show Google that your content is active and can help in ranking. Assuming this is true, will interactions with this plug-in also have the same effect? Thanks :-)

If you have a Google Analytics (which "records" everything) account connected with your site, yes.

My only question is who will see these results? Just us website owners or the general public too?

OK that's 2 questions but, I'm not sure I would want the public to be able to be influenced by any negative responses.
