Upon activation, you'll notice a new discrete "Notifications" menu in the top right corner of your Wordpress toolbar:

And of course, all those usual notifications will disappear from your Wordpress admin menu (once you've cleared the old ones).

The new notification center will capture and display any automated notification generated by themes and plugins.
