Another task to give Google information about your website is to submit a Sitemap. Basically, a sitemap is a list of items on your website, e.g. pages, posts, images, etc. It helps Google track your site and enhances your website's "profile" as far as Google is concerned. The more info they have, the better.

In order to accomplish this task, you will need to activate XML Sitemap, which is a feature of All-In-One SEO.

Go back to your dashboard
Click on: Feature Manager
Locate: XML Sitemaps
Click on: Activate

XML Sitemaps will appear in your All-In-One SEO line up.
Click on: XML Sitemap
Highlight and right-click: sitemap.xml
Choose: Copy

Go back to the Google Search Console
If you clicked on: "Continue" when you successfully verified your website you should see the screen shown below.

Locate and click on: Crawl
Click on: Sitemaps

Right-click and Paste: sitemap.xml after your url/
Click: Add/Test Sitemap

You can now use Google Search Console webmaster tools.
Search appearance, traffic and more!

Thanks for great training, I had not used my personal name for setting up Google Analytics and it was stopping webmaster tools from verifying my site using analytics. It is working now so thanks very much for your time and instructions.

Thanks Bob, I just started using GA a few days ago.

I don't have All in One SEO installed though..I have been advised not to install that due to fact that I use Yoast but still am now using GA! I have your training bookmarked too!

Yeah, you don't want any conflicts.

I appreciate the comment and bookmark. There are a lot of tutorials about this subject. This one should be good for basic beginners (like me).

Thank you, Cynthia!
