There are a number of uses for Rapid Writer outside of article writing. Many forum sites offer mini blogging opportunities and social media sites are expanding into this realm as well, especially LinkedIn and Facebook.

It can be tempting to think quality doesn't really matter on these other sites, but as an internet marketeer every opportunity to promote your business needs to be taken seriously.

Using Rapid Writer can enable you to check quality control through;

  • Measuring Keyword Density
  • Formatting text and making use of bold and italic text
  • Adding images and editing the image specifically for the post
  • Easy cut and paste into mini blog site.
  • Easy search and save feature as shown below.

At the end of the day Rapid Writer is another resource and although its original use may have become obsolete, that doesn't mean it can't be adapted for some other purpose.

Let me know if there are other ways that people are using rapid writer and we can share all.

Thanks, Marie

Hi Tim, I must confess I haven't really used it too much either but I think it has potential just needs to be re-marketed perhaps? It seems a shame not to use it.

Thank you for the lesson. My days of writing are over. But even though I've heard that anyone can write and become a writer I still have to disagree. Even with the right tools and training it is not for everyone. Yet every little thing offered here at WA to help members in this endeavor is helpful.

Hi Rick I agree I know there are a lot of people that find the writing part hard, and that was why I thought it's such a shame that rapid writer has been sidelined really, because it does have the potential to support some writers.

Thanks for sharing and dropping by, Marie
