1. How to upload SiteContent images to your posts and pages on your website, using SiteContent:
The first thing we have to mention is that SiteContent is for building content. On SiteContent you put together your writings and then click Publish. If you want to edit your articles after you have published them, SiteContent will take you to the back office of WordPress. So here on this segment we are going to explain how to add images to your posts before they are published using SiteContent. To add images inside SiteContent, you just have to click the image button.
Then you must type in a word related to the image you want and click search. For example, let’s type “family” and click search.
After that a wealth of images appear, from the three free image platforms. You select the one you like the most and click “Choose”.
After this, you can crop the image, select if you want to align it to the right, left or center. And also it’s recommended to add an “alt text”.
I usually "tick" the open in new window option, because it indirectly helps your “Average time on page” stat.
Finally click "Save and Insert". And this will make the image appear on your post. And you are done. That’s how easy it is to upload images to the pages and posts you are writing using SiteContent.
Of course after you upload the image, you must finish writing the post and click publish so that your post with image goes live.
Just trying to get my head around this - what exactly does the "Open in a New Window" do? I assume that the picture will be displayed in the post (regardless of whether this is ticked or not), but that when the picture is clicked, it will open in a new window. Is that what happens? Or am I totally off track?
