This is part 1 of the video. I had to break it into two sections because 200mb is the maximum upload size.

Here's Part 2: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/getting-keywords-from-forums-part-2-of-2

Resources mentioned:

semrush.com

ahrefs.com

I'm not affiliated with either.

P.S Apologies if your niche is camping and I just encouraged a bunch of others to jump into it.

This is great Dom! Thanks for sharing. Do you ever put the keywords you find into a keyword tool like Jaaxy or the WA tool? I put in Coleman Fuel substitutes and the traffic numbers were a bit different and the QSR was 50 which is still good. Can't remember the exact traffic number. Around 130 I think

I'll manually check the keyword on page one to see if it really is weak or not but honestly I don't care about the qsr

Ok, thanks. I will try that!

It's a good question and one I should have emphasised more. Basically, with things like QSR, you have a rough idea of how strong a keyword is, but you don't know for sure, because QSR doesn't look at the sites already on page 1. With this strategy, you're getting a much more accurate reading.

That is AMAZING!!!! Great training. Can't wait for part two.

Two thoughts that came to mind about how to use this. The first is the DIY keyword. I was actually just recently thinking about how to use DIY keywords. Just because it's DIY doesn't mean there is nothing to buy. I don't know if it applies to that specific keyword but I there are a ton of DIY tutorials become could rewrite with links directly to the component parts on Amazon or where ever.

My second thought is the forum keywords. I never want to miss the opportunity to use something that is up for grabs. The camping forum page had a handful of different forums. You could right a review page of the best forums and then use the traffic to either sell a book or something related to the topic or use it to get mailing list subscriptions to sell to later.

Really glad you took the time to put this together.

Good point re:DIY keywords. You could do what you said with the forum keywords too. An even better thing to do would be to list the best forums then reach out and let the owners know.

Excellent point! I actually want to do some training on online networking along that lines when I can finally do training. First though, I have to go through and see what training is already here in WA in that regards. Your comment actually reminds me of some technique I read about that involved getting ranked in Google and then contacting site owners, but I don't remember off the top of my head how it worked. I'll have to see if I can dig it up.

This is great training. Very unique. I will definitely use this advice. My niche is not camping, but it is pretty highly competetive.
