Twitter 1 - Basic Tour Around Your Twitter Profile

Welcome to a quick tour around the computer screen of my twitter account.

If you don't have a Twitter account and want to follow along with this series then please download the app to your phone or tablet or create an account on your computer.

Follow the setting-up steps and put some basic placeholders in the spaces for tomorrow when we can fill the gaps and create an attention grabbing profile for you and your website.

Twitter is a great place to share links to your blog posts and also your WA blog posts. Twitter is 24 hour action from around the globe and it is an amazing place for gathering followers and traffic from.

have got some other baby accounts but those are my main 3. I spam them all with WA and other links with a few personal photos in there but they are all more business that pleasure.

How are you finding it? I notice that there are people on Twitter with a massive amount of followers but with little interaction. Does it work businesswise for you?

you don't always need interaction as such with twitter. People will click a link without clicking a like or retweeting. I can tweet a WA blog link and watch my stats go up and there will be no obvious interaction with the tweet

I would like to know how you obtained so any followers?
I have had a personal Twitter account for 2 years now and am barely over 200 followers.

I would love some help with this as I haven't started a new business one because I am scared that I will not get any followers.

Any thoughts?

hi Shane, this is one of my quiet accounts that I have only just resurrected for my WA site. Building a targeted twitter following is easy, I will show you how later in the series once we have everything else in place ok :-)
