4 - Video Upload

Uploading videos to your YouTube Channel should be as seamless as possible for users at any skill level.

Both tools perform quite well with regard to other features such as Upload Checklists to ensure you don't miss out on anything.

Tubebuddy offers the option to create profiles for applying in different types of videos, end cards, and also thumbnail generators.

With VidIQ, you may have to spend a longer time to get used to how it works. However, it does have extra features such as description copy suggestions in its premium plan.

In terms of video uploading, Tubebuddy does have more features than VidIQ.

Using Both Tools

In case you're thinking if it is possible to use both VidIQ and Tubebuddy to manage a single YouTube channel! Technically, I would say it is possible to use both YouTube tools, but it’s not ideal, except you want to create a YouTube management tool that looks much disorganized.

However, they both offer you options for adjusting the features that are available for you to use. For VidIQ, you'll have to go through your Chrome Extension settings while Tubebuddy allows for adjustments through your account settings.

If you decide to disable certain features of each, you might get a blend of both tools. However, it's much better and saner to stick to just one YouTube SEO tool.

Which is better for SEO keywords for YT: TubeBuddy or our own Jaaxy Research?

Use TubeBuddy if you are going to make mostly YouTube videos. On the other hand, if you are going to write posts in addition to make YouTube videos, Jaaxy would be your best option as it works fine not only with websites but also with YouTube. Tom

I’ve noticed that Jaaxy will give me good keywords which show on TB to be poor or fair. But the latter doesn’t help me enough with finding better keywords. So I’ve just been using the jaaxy words for my videos

Thanks for asking, JerilynWin! When it comes to optimizing your videos, both tools are helpful, though the former works best for video optimization while the latter works best for content optimization.

If you write articles more than making videos, you made the best decision.

No I've actually switched to my YT channel, posting my vlogs on my website and other social media channels. Still learning TubeBuddy.
