Why Your LinkedIn Summary Is Not Simply A Resume Summary...
There are 3 key reasons why you should not just copy your resume summary onto your LinkedIn summary...
- Resumes tend to be filled with overused phrases and buzz words such as 'results orientated', 'team player', 'dynamic', 'motivated'...get rid of them!
- You have 2000 characters to say something really good about yourself...use all of them!
- Resumes lack keywords, so it's a good idea to use keywords to get found on LinkedIn!
If you haven't got a LinkedIn account yet then I would strongly urge you to think about opening one in the near future...today would be good!
LinkedIn is getting bigger and bigger with each passing day...DON'T GET LEFT BEHIND!
