4. Link Your Posts to Authority Sites in Your Industry
SEO is about getting links from authoritative sites within the industry. Google places importance on inbound links to other websites. Higher authority sites are linked to more often.
Make sure you link your blog post with another piece of content from a high-authority website, such as "How to do X" or the "Top 10 Best Practices for Y". People will often link to this valuable information if they are given away for free.
It is important to use both your internal links and external links. Google also knows a lot more about your readers and their interests than you do. To increase trust, it's important to link with high-authority websites.
5. Write an Attention-Grabbing Introduction
A quality blog post introduction should make your reader want to keep reading (and continue subscribing/sharing). This is the most important part of any blog post. Why?
Introductions are important because they help us understand the content of the article's body. They establish the tone for the article and sometimes hint at the main points.
Content writers are always looking for new ways to tell stories. A compelling introduction will give you a foundation for engaging content. You can get rid of all the clutter with an opening sentence that grabs readers' attention and encourages them to continue reading.
Your introduction should not exceed 3 to 5 paragraphs. Each paragraph should not exceed300 characters.
6. Incorporate Keyword Phrases into the Meta Descriptions
Meta descriptions are hypertext fields that web-search engines use to generate descriptive snippets for content on SERPs. Webmasters can increase the likelihood that users will see relevant search result snippets when they include Meta descriptions.
The description should be relevant to the Meta content and should be engaging, descriptive, and concise. It's tied to SEO, as you want keywords that are relevant to your site. So include keywords, but give a great description!
This is the only area where I advise against copying and pasting descriptions from other sources. It could lead to problems with Google and other search engines.
Always try to write a meta description for each page on your site yourself. This will allow you to see what each page is saying.
Thanks for your advice.
