3. How can you obtain referrals by sharing links?

When a person that has not joined the platform, clicks your affiliate link and then joins Wealthy Affiliate, Kyle and Carson will reword you with that referral.

To obtain referrals you must give useful information to people that have not joined the community yet (not even as free members) and also introduce them to your affiliate link. So, every time you share information that is interesting for people that have not joined the platform (and also can be viewed by them), it’s a good idea to give them your affiliate link.

Your affiliate link can be a link to your own training or posts and it can even be links to other member’s trainings or posts. In order to share your affiliate link you must go to the “Affiliate” button as shown below.

By, clicking the copy button you make sure the whole link is copied. You could also manually drag the mouse cursor over the link and copy it, but you must be careful not to leave anything out.

Posts only have one page, but training and courses have 4 or more pages. Trainings are made of pages and Courses are made of lessons.

You can give the link to the home page of a course, by clicking “Affiliate Link to Course Homepage”. In the picture below we can se the example of the "Online Entrepreneur Certification" Course.

You can also give a link to a specific lesson inside a course by clicking “Affiliate Link for this Lesson”, as also seen in the example of the "Online Entrepreneur Certification" Course, shown above.

There are also occasions when you want to give the link to a complete training. To do so you must look for “Affiliate Link for this Page” as shown in the picture below.

But there may be occasions as well when you want to give the link to a specific page of that training. For example: There is a training of 8 pages, and the information you want to deliver is on page 6. To give the link of specifically page 6 in a training, you must follow these steps:

Go to the link of the specific page of the training and copy what is show in the red box in the picture below.

Paste the link in a text editor.

Then go to the “Affiliate” button and copy the last section of the link (/aid_...), as shown in the picture below.

That last section corresponds to your affiliate ID. Paste that last section at the end of the link you first pasted in the text editor, as show in the picture below.

And finally paste this complete link you have just created where you want it to be. Any person that clicks on that link will go to the specific page inside the training and your affiliate ID will be tied to that click.

Picked up something new:) Creating the spam is a No-no. I always used the browser URL to page 6, but this is so obvious:))
That I didn't think of that!
