Multi-Tasking Is A Myth
I do not subscribe to the goal of becoming a great multi-tasker. Having been down that road and observed many, many others doing the same, I do not support embracing it as the way to develop.
Multi-tasking opens much room for errors, inefficency and poor skill development. In addition and perhps most importantly, it is a major cause of distress and ill health.
You will end up hurting yourself and perjaps even cause irreparable damage.
When you multi-task, you flit from one thing to another, always having in the back of your mind what you want to hurriedly move on to next. This means that you are not giving anythng that you are doing your full and undivided attention.
If that is the case, you are not completing your tasks to the best of your ability and they will always be average or you will always be skirting along.
Give Each Task Your Full Attention
Please do not get me wrong. There will be times when you have to juggle but this should not become your norm.
An overlooked aspect of achievement is self-worth. If you are only giving average input into what you are producing and not benefitting from being fully present, you will in fact be cheating yourself of enjoy a high return and reward from your output.
In short, you will get to a point of not feeling good about yourself and what you are producing. This will make no sense in the medium to long-term.
Always remember why you want to build an online business. For most of you, it is to enjoy the luxury of time - for yourself, your family, to do the things you truly enjoy, to direct and lead your own life journey, to earn on your terms.
Managing your time is one of the most critical learnings for you at this juncture.
Whilst you will have to sacrifice some time at the onset, pay careful attention to how you make the transition.
You want to emerge from this in a much better place than when you got started.
Always thinking of you Cassi. first it was for friendship, and we encourage each other, now it is for filling in parts of me, so I can understand and begin to make a plan of implementation.
Thank you, Cassi, You have my heart and I so appreciate you!

I'm lucky I can take my computer to work with me and do an hours research during quiet times, using my bosses internet to answer my long list of emails or start typing up my blog in word. If I have five minutes I'm on my phone checking emails. After work, is for emails.
Thanks Cassie
Of course that will take vision and planning for your future. Only you can do that for yourself, WA has the tools.
It will take treating Quality Time like what it is, an ephemeral jewel, like a drop of water on a leaf.
If you don't get it moving"she" will be gone! Time, you just got to make her sure that she's welcome.

Thanks again for this training.
I am in a similar situation ,single father of two adult sons (22 and one18 to become in November) and combining my online business with a day job. So time management is something I really have to do. I am glad to see that I do the same as you ,writing things down I use daily notepapers.
In the beginning it was hard to see I could not get done all things, but as I grow into it, I also shifted mindset and was more happy to cross of things then worried about things not done.
As you said we all have the same 24 hours, as long I know the things that should be done (priorities) are done ,the rest I reschedule. It works for me, actually getting more things done ,when I started making my daily notepapers of what to do.
Well wishes,
Luc
