Monthly or Weekly Compilation of the Posts You’ve Published So Far
What would actually make subscribers and readers unsubscribe from your email lists? Why do readers want to opt out of an email list? They do take such a step when they see that the volume of emails sent in consecutively within a short period of time does occupy their inbox heavily.
Most readers wouldn’t hesitate to opt out of lists if this is happening intermittently and would prefer to remain subscribed only to lists that send out emails once in a week or month.
On my personal blog, I simply send out weekly digest which has helped in keeping most of my subscribers active. And I try to send out some new ideas and tips which they haven’t read anywhere before. Sometimes, I send newsletters out with links to all of the posts I published in the week.
Some bloggers do write a summary for each of the blog posts they want to link subscribers to in their email newsletters. They add links to blog posts including the feature images so readers can see an overview of the blog posts they want subscribers to see.
How Should Your Email Newsletters be Structured?
While preparing your email, it should be in this format:
- A brief message to introduce your readers
- Crucial links to helpful posts, training resources and others
- Links to your sales page or product reviews
What Other Emails do You Need to Send to Your Email Subscribers?
- A Special email asking for feedback from blog readers
- A promotional list of product descriptions
- An autoresponder to convey a discrete course.
