Choosing the "best" Browser
Browser statistics by popularity as of December 2017:

However, despite the above data that shows Google Chrome as the most popular, it has also been ranked as the most secure Browser, however, not the most private. Google has also been accused of spying and installing software unknowingly to the end-user. We will leave this alone for now.
Firefox is the clear winner in my book for the following reasons: The new Firefox has also been rated equal in comparison to Chrome by PCWorld.
One of the most interesting and worrying things about browser tabs is that a “good” hacker using session hijacking or Man-in-the-browser/man-in-the-middle attack, can take advantage of the fact that tracking cookies “spread out” from other open tabs. With Firefox and the Container add-on, each tab creates a self-contained sandbox to separate the browsing experience. Each tab has its own storage. A perfect example of this is that one can open several Email accounts, several FB, several WordPress, Google etc. all in the same Firefox Browser on different tabs and at the same time. You can’t get any better than that! Cookies downloaded from one Container cannot access or track anything in my other open tabs.
To create containers, just long-click the new tab (+) as in the demonstration above.
Download Firefox and add the following:
Use the following search engines:
DuckDuckGo - doesn’t use cookies, and it discards user agents and IP addresses from logs.
Startpage - searches Google on your behalf but reports only the search results to you. It discards all other data like cookies, user agents and IP addresses as well.
