One simple tactic that I used to find my niche was to convert my hobbies into a possible business. Now I had more than one hobbies and I had to make up my mind which one was the best. I chose art because it had an assortment of items that I could promote on my website. But that wasn't the only reason, there was an open field of opportunities for me to promote and educate my customers about these products. Here are a few tips on what to consider when choosing a hobby.
My Choice of Hobby:
- Has a variation of products to promote
- Will give opportunities to educate customers
- Appeals to a large audience
- Is valuable to other businesses
A hobby could be anything from baking your favorite apple pie to reading horror books. It doesn't necessarily have to be a hobby, but it could be an interest in a particular subject or field. Some people don't have hobbies, but they like doing different things like; for example, landscaping, organizing book shelves, watching birds or anything that's fun. Once we identify what we like to do, we can start doing some research on which products to promote.
Does this sound like a good niche? I want to reach women AND men..
Thanks,
Gary
