Hello my friends

I posted over the last few days some tips about video production mentioning video recording tools and sites you can use like JING and CAMSTUDIO, and last Screencast-O-Matic.

I actually purchased those days a license to Screen-O-Matic because it is way cheaper then Screenr, can make longer videos and has a one year license, no monthly fee.

But Screenr is somehow a bit easier to use I thought so feel free to try it out yourself.

I immediately felt in love with screenr at screenr.com.

The point which blew me away was that I don't have to download ANYHTING, nothing at all.

I press a button, set size and mic and start to record in a great quality as you can verify yourself in the video I posted. The time limit here are 5 minutes as in JING, but the quality is way better IMO.

When you wanna go bigger they have a few business offers starting at $20 bucks a month, but guess that's not necessary as you can pack a good amount of quantity in a 5 minute video.Just shoot 3 videos if you have a 13 minute tutorial you wanna record.

That's it baby, let's rock and roll.G.

Thanks for sharing this program. I've been looking at screen recording programs. Will definitely give this one a try. The price is right.

Heck yes, you can't beat the price and get a real cool tool with a lot of editing features you won't get at other tools on that price level. Try it out first to see the video and audio quality. The free version is without editing and has branding.

Yeah, awesome tutorial. I have played around with Screenr and it seemed pretty good. I use Screencast (Mac based) for my screencasts and it is quite awesome, it is about $100 for a license for that so if anyone is ready to take things to the next level screencast may be an option as well.

Hi Kyle

I think I mentioned that I got yesterday a license to Screencast-o-matic which did cost a stunning...

15 bucks

For a full year 8-). Man that's about a dollar per month unlimited with some cool editing feature similar to Camtasia. They even host your videos and you can publish to youtube right out of the gate from inside the tool.

Nasty baby

Thanks for sharing this good info, I use faststone capture to record my videos and as you said the audio recorder are generally bad with all recorders, they need to be configured well, this site will help to record shirt presentations, many thanks for you

Welcome and as you mentioned, usually the audio sucks with free or cheap tools. Not with this one here.

Thank you so much. I will try to see what I can do with this. I especially like no downloads!

Exactly my point. No dowloading 45 MB files is a killer IMO. Just record and if you like what you see, download the ready to go video file.
