Second time through is a charm!

Third time even better!

Break the whole down into manageable pieces

Since you read the resource through already, you have a good idea of the sorts of things you will be reading., thus better able to take notes.

Spiral Notebook:

  1. Vocabulary - any word you do not know or a word you know used differently goes here. (talked about on previous page)
  2. References- as you read, any page you want to come back to later, jot it down here. Be very specific with web addresses, author name, article name etc. (talked about previous page)
  3. Leave a section open to jot down questions you think of while reading. Often these questions are off topic! Come back and use the questions for forum posts or to search for a new tutorial
  4. It can also be used for longer step by step instructions you do not want to print ( best to print them).

3 Ring Binder

  1. Stores the articles, and step by step instructions you choose to print.
  2. Use the post it tabs to separate the articles, you can write on them!
  3. Read these over AWAY from the computer, use your Hi-Liter.
  4. Before you print, save it to a folder on your computer named WA!

Composition Book

  1. Will be used key word research. For now any time in any tutorial someone gives an example of key word groups which will be a list of 4 to 10 phrases all based on the same base key word, write them in the book , one key word per page .
  2. Eventually as you learn, you will also note on this page your search results, Google rank, gravity, number of searchsr per day or month, all those things they teach you.
  3. As you do you own key word searches, you will use this to write the words and phrases you play with and the numbers you will learn about that tell you if they are good or not.
  4. You could use index cards, or notes in a document or note pad you create.
  5. The point is to have all this research in one spot, and handy.

great ideas! I did almost this exact system...I have 4x6 note cards posted everywhere around my desk - they are all colored coded with specific information. I also have a white board with running totals of my campaigns and my 3, 6 & 12 month sales goals!
