3. Now Log back on to your account.

On the menu bar on the left, under "DOMAINS" click "Domain Management."

Check the box next to your domain.

Click the green "forward tab" for domain forwarding.

In the pop over box that appears enter you're M-linker in the "Forward to:" field...

(you saved it in a word or text document,remember?) looks something like this:
http://www.my-linker.com/hop/WealthyAffiliate999.

Check the "Update my DNS settings to support this change. (Recommended)" and click the"OK"button.

Let the page do its thing and when everything is finished you can log out.

It will take a couple of hours or a day for your changes to take effect but you have now completed all the technical steps necessary and are now ready to send traffic to your new way cool domain!

Do not enable masking if promoting the WA membership.

It will block WA's ability to track your sales.

(learned this one the hard way!)

How to Test : Type your new way cool domain into the browser address window.

You should end up on the sales page of Wealthy Affiliate.

When the page is loaded the address in the browser should look like this:

http://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/index/a_aid/1ilsX6Id

The last 8 characters are my affiliate ID, yours will be there instead.

FYI:

There is some debate whether or not Masking with Clickbank is a good idea or not. According to their customer service department "masking makes the hop link unreliable".

Although I have used masking and have been getting sales, until I can completely stand behind it 100% I will be unable to recommend it, so for now I would say to forward your domain but...
do not enable masking.

Tip to use latter:

Be sure to always check your links to be sure they work.

If you are at the sales page of the Clickbank product you are promoting go ahead and click the "purchase" or "buy" button and you will be sent to the Clickbank Secure Payment Form.

If you scroll down to the bottom you should see your CB hoplink ID. Mine looks like this:

[affiliate = klrrider].

If it is there everything is working properly and you will get your commissions.

Hit the "Back" button and get out of there (unless you want to buy the product from yourself!).
