Customizing Google+ Collections and Images

You will be presented with a default image.

Step 1: Click Customize

Step 2: Change the default image....

Click theAdd Your Own link

Choose an image from your computer. I suggest one with text on it that shows your website URL.

Then, you can select the color theme of this collection by the bottom color bar:

Step 3: Let's add a post

As in the past, you can add different types of elements:

• Text
  
• Photos
  
• Links
  
• Videos
  
• Events
  
• Polls

For this example, I would like to show you how to add compelling images that can really boost traffic. So, click the Photos icon shown in the image above.

Step 4: Select a Photo from your computer, then click the Text icon:

The OPTIMUM size for a Google+ post image is 250x250 (Minimum).

Step 5: Adding Descriptive Compelling Text to Any Photo

You will then be provided the opportunity to add text to the top, middle or bottom of the photo:

Additionally, on the right side, you'll have the ability to change the font of the new text via a very short list of fonts provided:

Step 6: Add a description for this image:

TIP: At the bottom of your description, be sure to use some related keywords with hashtags as such:

Then, of course, Click the Share button to save this post and share it out to both this new collection and your Google + Business Page.

Okay, so Rinse and Repeat a few times with several images, upload a video or embed one from YouTube.
