In this tutorial I'm going to cover a free software called Monosnap. I'll show you the very basics of this software, but also cover the reasons behind using it too.
How Monosnap Can Help You
As I mentioned in the video, everyday I see many members inside Wealthy Affiliate ask questions, run into problems and request help. Now this is perfectly fine because it's a community and we try help each other.
However, sometimes it's almost impossible for us to offer help or advice because we don't fully understand what the problem is or what it is the person is trying to explain.
This is when screenshots come in very handy, capturing a screenshot or just a selection of your screen with monosnap and upload it online can be done in 5 seconds.
But you can also edit images before you upload them, point to areas of concern so others can understand better.
Sharing Your URL When you Need Help
I understand not everyone likes to posts/share their website URL, but sometimes this is one of the best ways to get the help you need.
If you don't share screenshots or the URL, you'll still get help, but you'll likely have to jump back and forth answering questions until the person helping understand exactly what it is you need help with.
Thanks Steve
A big thank you goes out to Steve who made a blog post back in January letting us Wealthy Affiliate members know Monosnap as many needed a Droplr replacement.

As I mentioned in the video, I created a more in depth video tutorial back in January covering Monosnap, if you'd like to checkout that video you can view it here:

However the setting for monosnap are pretty much self explanatory.

Thank you, Welshy.
They certainly do save a lot of typing & guesswork when problem solving (as you mention). Also, when working on simple graphic mock-ups it improves the work flow considerably.
I presently have 3 capture tools in my system start up manager and rotate a few others when I could use some variety / want a different feel. Although this may seem a little overkill, most days they all get played with (& I don't like having unnecessary sw slowing down a box bounce, which illustrates how much I use & appreciate these tools).
Thanks for a very useful community minded tutorial Craig.
