Microsoft Clarity
This is a short training about microosoft clarity
A free analytics program to add more information to find out where your site can improve
rage clicks - not heard of them....watch the video....
See what people are donig on your site with recordings....
To setup your account goto
And signup
Follow the account settings and when adding the project then follow the video.
Be patient as it does take a while to get the data coming through
But worth the wait
I have already made a couple of minor changes to my site where it showed js problems and a visitor was hunting for something....

just a note
i triefd linking this with a new google analytics 4 site and it couldn't see it
si i reinstalled the site in google analytics and selected the advanced option
so that i could use both the older ua number and the new number
Clarity could then see my site
I am sure this is a small oversight in microsofts program and as it is very new the bugs will be worked out.....

I did the step by step process, and it works really well.
I now have an issue:
On each post, I have the word right at the top left saying "Advertisement."
Could you explain to me why I have this and how I can get rid of this word. I was obviously meant to do something that I have missed in the process.

if you hover over the advert does it say anything down the bottom - is it a link
if you suspect that microsoft clarity has put this on your site then i am very concerned
you can try turning off the link for microsoft clarity and see if it disappears.
as i say i have not come across this on any of the sites i have activated clarity on
i would be interested to see hte resolution for this
have you applied for adsense recently
...and it wasn't a 'feature' of clarity....was thinknig i would have to delete the training....
do you use ad inserter plugin to control your ads? if not might be worth a look
create the ad and place it in a holder then on each post you get to choose which one(s) you add and where.....
you can use it for a site wide banner easily ( like a bf deal) as well or changes to your affiliate programs ( like amazon do occasionally)
as i said above i have already made a couple of changes and hopefully that may improve the user experience - time will tell....

very useful added analytics to help with conversions on your site
you are able to see where people are going what they are doing in much more depth than with google analytics.
