Set Up a 301 Redirect
Why would you need to set up a 301 redirect on your site? When users get the 404 errors upon trying to access pages on your site, they may get seriously annoyed.
Literally pages that result in 404 errors may not hurt your site ranking, but it’s worth fixing if such pages are noticed or a 301 redirect setup should be done.
If your site is connected to Google Search Console (GSC), you can simply check out errors by clicking on Crawl Errors. And if you are a WordPress site owner, you have a good number of plugins at your own disposal that are suitable for helping you turn those 404 pages into fun automatically or simply 301-redirect those pages to other useful pages on your site such as your contact page, home page, and others.
And if you don’t want to keep those 404 errors within your site, you may alternatively get them weeded out.
Optimize Images for Your Content Marketing Campaigns
Most bloggers use images in their content marketing campaigns but many are not optimizing these images properly. There is only little work to be done for images to be optimized for search engine indexing.
If you assign the image title attribute, caption and Alternative text to all of the images used within your content, search engines will easily find and index all of them for ranking.
Another thing you should do to optimize images for search engine visibility is use the image compressor. You have plugins at your disposal to leverage such as the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin and many others on WordPress.
Wishing you an awesome day!
