While it is easy to let yourself get sucked in by all the potential profits that an eBay business can deliver, I warn you to not let the dollar signs that are dancing in front of you to affect your judgement.

In order to determine if a Drop Shipper or Wholesaler is right for you, ask yourself the following:

1. Do you have storage space in your home for inventory?
2. Do you have a minimum of $100 cash to spend on your eBay business that will NOT result in your going into credit card debt?
3. Do you have the time available to handle packaging and shipping items in addition to listing them?

If you answered NO to all three questions, then a Drop Shipper may be your best bet as it costs you nothing up front, minus eBay listing fees, unless the item sells. Just keep in mind you are putting yourself at the mercy of another companies inventory, which could reflect badly on you if you sell an item you are unable to purchase. In cases like that its best to contact your buyer as soon as possible to notify them of the situation as well as refund their money.

Those who may have answered YES to questions 1 & 2 but NO to 3, have the option of choosing a Wholesaler, or a Drop Shipper. I would suggest a Wholesaler, because packaging and shipping is not really that bad once you get a process in place.
