Plan your day.

This is the surest way to achieve your goals. Use one planner and write your "To do" list every day or a day before. Set aside ten minutes of your time to write your day plans, or an hour or so for your weekly or monthly plans.

Do NOT forget to include your non-business related slots of time for other people you love and activities you enjoy.

Having this said, never plan for too many hours a day. You can pull up 8-10 hours of effective work per day for a few days only. It's impossible to do it in the long run. Either you or your private life will break.

Don't let business tasks interfere with your family commitments! Don’t stretch yourself too thin. Remember you need recharging. Make sure you take frequent breaks during which you will turn off your mind completely from work for a brief period of time.

For example, plan for five hours per day and focus on those five hours. The rest of the day will fill up somehow.

Here's a reality check: Did you really plan on spending so much time at WA today and yesterday? If you spent too much time at WA, perhaps you should consider changing something in your time management.

When you're done planning, stick with it! It's not easy, but it's the only way to fulfil your planned goals.

Great tutorial! I like the VINE principle! I think I might need it because I have difficulties with staying focused on 1 thing at the time.
I will try to use your tips in my daily routine.
Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you Angelique!
The VINE Principle is something I crafted to explain how to easily set priorities. Actually, I should put a trademark on it.
I hope it helps.

In that case I have to write a longer post dedicated to VICE only. Hmm. I may as well do it.
