The following are reasons you should continue commenting as part of your marketing tactics:

Brand Visibility: Realistically you are doing blog commenting because you want to build brand visibility and make yourself recognized by the potential audiences out there.

For days, weeks or months, some blog readers may not click through your comment links but at a later time, you’ll be remembered easily for the brand name you’ve built so far through the quality commenting you’ve been doing.

There are other major search engines (Not Google Alone): Aside from Google that has devalued blog commenting for Link Building, not all of the other major search engines have done the same.

At least, we have a number of search engines that are not yet curious about giving credits to comments as part of what constitute link building unlike Google. So, such can be leveraged if you are good at commenting. In that regard, commenting is not a waste of time at all.

Direct Traffic: Though most authority bloggers are experts when it comes to building links, some of them are still losing lots of direct and referral traffic to the knowledge that commenting is pointless for SEO.

They’ve turned their minds off the fact that visitors who read comments on blogs could be their target market or traffic pointers and could eventually lead to conversions and sales.

Building Bonds with Bloggers: This is one of the most horrific mistakes bloggers make and they missed out the road completely with commenting. They don’t realize the simple fact that it takes several ways to create strong bonds with other bloggers in which blog commenting is part.

While taking your time to offer quality comments to blogs, you can get free mentions, social media shares and guest post invitations.

Hey Alan, thanks for your contribution, Alan! It's great to have you on board. Kudos for reading this training and for finding it useful! Don't follow the counsel of the bloggers who teach that blog commenting is no longer useful for your website. Never listen to them. Though search engines no longer follow blog comments, doing it the right way has a lot of rewards. Thanks for the reading!

Oh there you are, I have been missing your training.

Anyhow, great information, Israel!

I've noticed though that as I am getting comments from WA my rankings are moving up. Is this due to the activity on the blog? I mean since you said that Google no longer considers them for SEO, which I can understand.

I don't know, it could be a factor of many things now that I think about it because, I have followed your training and been publishing quite frequently, and I must say that you and your training has helped me out a lot.

My traffic is increasing, so is my authority slowly but, surely. I also am now getting better rankings from all of your suggestions. Plus, I'm even starting to get some referrals by organic search.

Anyhow, I will still get and leave comments, as this could help out with exposure.

Thank you, so much Israel, you don't know how much your training has helped me.

Congrats on getting more traffic and referrals!

Comments that you get on your own blog are definitely considered positive by Google because it shows that visitors are engaging with you. So that's definitely a plus for SEO.

I believe what he's talking about here is comments that you would leave on the site of an authority blogger with a link back to your site. So many people started leaving low quality and spam comments just to get a backlink that Google has devalued those kinds of comments.
