Shortcut for “Laugh Out Loud”
This is used to convey an expression on something funny.
ex. This is widely used also in “Text Speak” slangs. I bet you have you used this often too, LOL!

Thank you! I learnt 4 new things here. I'd never seen TBT, PAW (glad I know about this one with 2 kids #LOL), IKR and GOAT.

On another note, I used to work with a lady who would use LOL as 'lots of love'. I thought it was odd one day when she was writing me a message of support, ending in LOL! (E.g. I hope the surgery goes well LOL). So I had to let her know :)
