I would recommend going back to the first step and repeating the process only this time creating a responsive ad unit for below the fold before moving on to the next step of this training so that when we integrate the Above the Fold ad we can integrate the Below the Fold Ad at the same time.

Pasting the Amp Ad Code

Log into your WordPress Site, Click Amp, Settings, Advertisement

Turn on AD #1 Below the Header (SiteWide) which is equivalent to Above the Fold by clicking ON

Choose AD Size 320 x 100 from dropdown list Paste your Data-Ad-Client info Paste your Data-Ad-Slot info

Turn on AD #2 Below the Footer (SiteWide) which is equivalent to Below the Fold by clicking ON

Choose AD Size 300 x 250 from dropdown list Paste your Data-Ad-Client info Paste your Data-Ad-Slot info

Click Save Changes

Adding the Script to your site

We need to copy and paste the code/script between the <head></head> tags of your AMP HTML:

Click Advanced Settings. Under Enter HTML in Header and Paste the code below:

also can you give your ad any name? again, what happens to custom channel,text and style, if no ad available?

In AdSense you have to choose a backup ad which will show if no ad is available. This is where I place my Amazon Affiliate Ad code. This way when Ad Sense isn't showing I can always count on Amazon.
