Hello, everyone! I would like to share with you a solution to a problem I have had recently. Whenever I would write a blog post and have the need to share it on my different social media, I would have to manually get into each one of them and write different snippets, copy and paste the link, and eventually resort to different resources to shorten them. This was extremely time consuming and just made me think that there should be a better way to do this.

How could we automate the process and simplify sharing our blog posts in our different social media profiles?

Thank you for sharing, DanielLara:)
I'd like to ask you a question...
Buffer gives me only one option for fb pages, and it's my profile page. I saw a tutorial on Youtube where you can choose between two options: Fb profile or business page. Any idea?
Thank you in advance,
Vesna

That is a feature of the Premium Buffer account - the free one doesn't have that option.

Exactly! Thanks for the reply, onmyownterms. I also tried it and got to the same conclusion.

Hi! Here's Buffer support reply that I've just got:

"....It's important to mention that Buffer has to download to your Facebook account in order to use it to manage your business page.
Without authorizing through your Facebook profile details, the app doesn't receive the necessary access token and it can't connect to your page. So even though, it will look like you're connecting your profile at the end of the process, you'll have the option to choose the page. :)"

This Buffer support answer refers to my Free account.
I wanted to share it because this explanation might also help others with the same question.
Best regards

Daniel, this is awesome information! Posting my articles manually has been very time-consuming and I probably post them at a time when not many people will see it. With Buffer, I can now find out the best times to post my articles and schedule them to be posted at that time.

P.S. - The screenshots you included in this article were very helpful.

Hi Daniel, if I have another website that I want to set up a sharing schedule for with Buffer, will I need a new Buffer Account for this? I have another FB Business Page for other website. Is there a way to add another FB Business Page to Buffer?

Hi, Justine! I'm not sure I understood your first question correctly. But you will have to setup a Buffer account with a different e-mail in order to have two different buffer accounts - you won't be able to centralize all in one unless you go for the business plans (I believe even the "Awesome" plan only allows for one user, even though you can setup 100 different social media profiles).

For more than 1 business page, the awesome plan for sure covers that - you can have up to 10 social profiles, and when you schedule a post you get to choose on which ones you will share.

Does this answer all your questions?

Hi Daniel, yes thank you I think so. So when I followed your training, is that the Awesome acct or is that one you pay for?

My training refers to the Free plan. The differences between the Free and Awesome plans are described in more detailed in page 4.

Hi Deborah.

After reading your comment above, I was wondering do you need a little help with anything. Though I am still learning as well, I am willing to offer assistance as needed. Lets get you some answers.

Just take your time and go through all the tutorials. I work on my website as I go along with Kyle. Ask questions......don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't ever think it is a stupid question because it's probably a question many of us have asked. I am also new and overwhelmed but by the end of the day, I feel so totally accomplished because everyday I get something else done that I never knew. Good luck to you.

I tried the Enter Buffer button but nothing happened.

Hi, Brady! Actually, there's no "Enter Buffer" button - that was just an expression. You have to create an account by going to http://www.buffer.com and either using your e-mail or one of your social media profiles.

Everybody, who is using social media to share content will benefit from it. It makes it so easy to get your content out. Ever since I read your blog post about it I got more into Buffer and how it works.

Not going to get back to manually sharing it any time soon. :)

Once again, thank you!
