Next, you need to take what is out there and make it your own. Here are some ways to take your existing content to the next level.

You can make your own piece last longer! Sometimes, an article with more information or simply a longer length will suffice.

You can publish 130 or 300 lists if you find a magnet that has a title such as "50 Healthy Link Profile Ideas".

Some of these lists may be easy! Some may be very difficult or extremely difficult, while others may be almost impossible. Do your research properly and you can achieve it all.

Even if takes you 10 gallons of coffee, 20 hours sitting in front of your computer, it’s worth the effort. (Not to worry, you might have to take bathroom breaks!) But in the end, it will be clearly superior to anything else.

Stay Up-to-Date

You can make a winning content update by taking an old piece of content and updating it.

So, for example, many of the ranking factor lists were outdated and did not include important ranking factors such as social signals. You can make your lists extremely better and up-to-date.

• Old Content

You can find outdated information in a piece, so create a new version that covers the same points but updates it with freshly polished content.

• Better Design

Sometimes, a visually intriguing piece of content can generate more social shares and links than something similar on a boring page.

• Content Curation

Create a guide that contains links to niche-related authority sites. Make the page beautiful and create a good image/banner for your guide.

• More thorough

Most list posts consist of a simple list of bullet points with no engaging content. You can make your list posts more valuable by adding a little bit of depth to each piece.

You might find that other similar lists were lacking references and detail. So make sure that each point on your list is brief (with a reference).

Important Note: I suggest that you make a big difference with the content at all levels: design, length, information, etc. This will be objectively obvious that YOU have the best piece of content. This is crucial when you want to spread the word...
