In this video I am going to walk you through the process of creating a blog post that is centric to a video (how to effectively incorporate the "idea" into your content), how to capture the video image, how to add the video into your page, and how to add your affiliate link to the image.

If you have any questions about adding videos to your website or the most effective techniques to do so, please leave your questions below and I will help you out! :)

Hi Kyle...I am a little confused. in this video you talk about using your "long WA affiliate link" explaining that the short link leads to Google. I'm still not clear on how this works with "Pretty Link" that you recommended in an earlier training. I also don't get what you mean by "Premium Videos" to use which are different than the "Getting Started Videos" . Are you saying that premium videos convert better because the cookies are set up with WA as opposed to embedded YouTube videos so don't use the getting started videos within individual website content?

Premium videos dont' convert any better no, but you can definitely leverage the "idea" of them and let people know of some things they will get if they do join premium. There are 100's of hours of Premium videos, any of which could be used as a bonus if someone joins.

Pretty Link simply "masks" the affiliate link, so it looks a bit cleaner. You don't have to use it.

Can I just give the link instead of embedding? Then what happens to the affiliate link?

Yes, you can give out affiliate links if you like directly with embedded text without link to the video.

I've been searching around trying to figure out how you captured the video image

I used snagit for this. Are you on a Mac or a PC, there are free functions built into this. You can also use droplr.com (install it) as it will have a screencapture tool built in and it is free.

Oh, okay thanks. I do have a PC. Windows 7. There is probably a tutorial somewhere on WA, I just couldn't find it.

So Kyle how do we NOT embed the video so that we can get credit when someone does click on the video? Or maybe I spaced out somewhere during your video?

Do exactly what I did. You are actually embedding an image, and then linking from the image to the actual video (training resource) at WA through your affiliate link, so you do get full credit.
