TIFF Image Type

TIFF stands for Tagged Image File Format. TIFF is another full-color non-lossy image type. It is not recommended for websites, so do not use it for that purpose. Also, many browsers do not support TIFF image formats, so not a good idea to use for our websites we build.

It is perfectly fine, however, for maintaining originals of images that you may want to edit later.

One benefit to using TIFF over other full-color formats is that it handles a wider range of colors. Artists and technically-minded graphic designers might want to use TIF images.

Thank you, Steph. I read all the way through it when I wrote you the first time. It's my retention of new things learned about that I have to work on. Sometimes I am feeling old. Haha.
