How To Watermark an Image - Watermarking Fun

Now that we have our canvas set up, I will be showing you how to actually watermark your image.

1) Click on the frame at the bottom of the page that has the letter A on it. This is called the Fontwork Gallery.

2) Choose a Font Art - I chose the first one

3) The font will already be selected. Choose your preferred filling and line colour from the left palette, under "Area". I like to choose the same colour for both for seamless fading later.

4) Next, adjust the transparency percentage to your liking. I suggest somewhere between 70 - 85%.

5) Double-click on the "FONTWORK" art you created on your canvas and it should allow you to input the text of your choice. The best would be to use your website domain name. (yourdomain.com)

6) Next, click on one of the green/light blue squares around your font art. They will change to red circles. You can use these circles to rotate the word.

7) Drag and drop your selected image onto the canvas

8) Right-click on the image to reveal a drop-down menu, select "Arrange", then "Send to Back".

9) Then, adjust the position and size of your image (by using the green/light blue squares around the image for the size). Just drag the image to your preferred position.

10) The below is what your finished product should look like.

Finally, let's see how we can save our work to use on our websites, on the next page.

Hi I have also got the wp copyright protection, but when someone visits a page there’s just this annoying pop up now that comes up every time you try to scroll down saying copyright protected. Hoping to find a way around it as it’s annoying to me let alone visitors lol. X

It does hinder the readability of the page doesn't it. It makes me want to get rid of mine, but then Im now worried about people copying my work also, doh! Lol

I understand.

I deplore pop ups. And I hate messy clutter which is why I never liked Ad sense appearing through my blogs. Ugh. I now have a little ad sense widget running all the time but it is on the right side bar and very unobtrusive.

Just more learning curves :)

That actually sounds like a great idea! I was kind of gutted being unapproved by adsense at first but after seeing some general pages on the internet with their ads all over the place it kind of put me off a bit, as you’re right it can look a little messy. I’m leaving off on them for a while but will definitely look into that widget when it comes to it so thanks for the idea! :)

Hmm, that's strange. I use the plug-in but I don't get any pop-ups. The one in the picture is what I am using.

Anytime, Nnakife. It's what I personally do to watermark my images, so I'm just hoping to help others protect their images too. We all work so hard on our content.
