How to Watermark an Image - Let's save our watermarked image

No, unfortunately, you won't be able to just go into "File" and to hit "Save". OpenOffice does not permit you to save the work as a .png or a .jpeg. Therefore, we have to resort to other means.

Windows Method

1) Click on "Slide Show" on the top menu and select "Slide Show" within the drop-down.

2) Hold the "Cntr" and "PrtScrn" buttons on your keyword at the same time. This will take a snapshot of the entire screen.

3) You can then go ahead and insert the image as you normally do within your contents.

iMac Method

1) Hold the "Command", "Shift" and the number 4 keys at the same time. This will change your mouse to a circle with a cross.

2) Hold your left mouse-button and select the area that you would like to take a snapshot of.

3) Let go of the mouse button to take the snapshot.

4) Insert your image as you would normally do within your contents.

Any questions? Any feedback?

I know using this method may be a little time consuming, but I promise that once you get used to it, you'll be doing it very fast. It's a lot of steps so please let me know if you have any questions. Please also give me any feedback on improving this tutorial if you can, by commenting.

I hope this tutorial has helped you and if it has, then please hit the LIKE button and share it around. We can all do our part of helping each other protect our content and images.

Hi I have also got the wp copyright protection, but when someone visits a page there’s just this annoying pop up now that comes up every time you try to scroll down saying copyright protected. Hoping to find a way around it as it’s annoying to me let alone visitors lol. X

It does hinder the readability of the page doesn't it. It makes me want to get rid of mine, but then Im now worried about people copying my work also, doh! Lol

I understand.

I deplore pop ups. And I hate messy clutter which is why I never liked Ad sense appearing through my blogs. Ugh. I now have a little ad sense widget running all the time but it is on the right side bar and very unobtrusive.

Just more learning curves :)

That actually sounds like a great idea! I was kind of gutted being unapproved by adsense at first but after seeing some general pages on the internet with their ads all over the place it kind of put me off a bit, as you’re right it can look a little messy. I’m leaving off on them for a while but will definitely look into that widget when it comes to it so thanks for the idea! :)

Hmm, that's strange. I use the plug-in but I don't get any pop-ups. The one in the picture is what I am using.

Anytime, Nnakife. It's what I personally do to watermark my images, so I'm just hoping to help others protect their images too. We all work so hard on our content.
