Step 2: Enter Your Website URL
Enter your site address (Such as https://goldeniraretirement.com) and click on the “Add a property” link.
Step 3: Choose the “Alternative Methods” ox and select the HTML Tag Option
Once you've entered your site address and have clicked the "Add" button, choose the Alternative method and select the HTML tag option

It's really profitable to have verified one's website with Google as this basically confirms that you're the rightful owner of that site. I recently joined a CPA performance marketing network and was required to submit the proof that I have been verified with Google. So far I knew I've done this before, I was so glad to quickly login to my Google Search Console account and get those docs attached. Shortly after I've done that, I got approved to promote the CPA offers I requested to promote.
