Hello and thanks for dropping by to check out my lesson 5 on getting started with ScreenFlow and recording your first movie.
In this lesson, I explain what to expect when you launch the program and you may be surprised. Why? Because not a lot happens! But that's just the program doing what it's designed to do. When you launch ScreenFlow you don't see the normal type of program open up and fill your screen. All you see is a small icon appear in your menu bar and a configuration panel which you set to your choice and then press record. Once you press record, the panel disappears and you're now recording everything you do on your computer screen.
I also explain a few tips and tricks to make your movie even better and touch on how to make your very own music tracks to use as backing tracks on your movies, without the risk of Copyright infringement. This lesson is simply showing you how to make your first recorded movie.
So why use ScreenFlow?
Have you ever wanted to create a training course or become a teacher? ScreenFlow it's an excellent program used to teach (by way of showing) people how to create lessons or promotional videos on a computer. For example: If you like building websites using WordPress, or you want to show people around WA, you can use ScreenFlow to teach others on how to use WordPress and navigate WA. That's the beauty of it. It lets YOU become a teacher to others and often you can make money by providing this service. Once your movies are embedded into your websites or blogs, you bring a level of professionalism and validity to your business because people can SEE you and know what you're talking about.
So sit back, click PLAY on the movie and enjoy this lesson and any others offered in this course. If you have any questions at all about this lesson or any others in my course, I'd be more than happy to help you so please ask.
Kind regards,
Phil.
