Guide to Driving Traffic to Your Site through Quora
Here are some tips to help you drive traffic to your site with Quora:
1. Set up a Profile
Quora can help you engage with your users to discover new insights and grow your business. It’s also a safe space to share anything on the platform so you can build trust with other users.
Business owners, experts, and anyone with a good blog or website can immediately benefit from Quora. It’s been more successful than ever due to its focus on individuals looking for better ways to differentiate themselves online through social media.
Your about page should contain important information such as your interests, the cities you serve, schools you went to, etc. You also want to express examples of where your knowledge & experience is a good match for potential clients.
Here are a few tactics you must keep in mind when crafting your bio:
- Make sure it’s understandable and that if you have a website, people can find it.
- It should also include what you have to offer and proof that you do so.
I do want to point out that certain spaces have their own rules, and that any links may be regarded as spam and Quora will delete your comment. I have had that a couple of times, and although I appealed their decision because the comment I left did not fall under their 'Spam' rules, they denied my appeal.
Other than that, setting up your 'Space' is important, just like when creating any profile. You can post your website URL in your profile, yet be careful where and how you direct traffic back to your link and/or website.

Any way, I still like Quora to get inspired.

If you answered this question in your lesson, please excuse me for missing it. But are affiliate links permissible on Quora?
Also, in lesson 4, you say "You should also consider answering questions where the audience has many followers, but the total number is limited." Can you please clarify what you mean when you say "the total number is limited."?
Thank you for this helpful information!
