Upon activation, you can go to Settings => Icon Fonts to see the available icon font families. Currently, the plugin comes with Font Awesome and Genericon fonts:

And that's all ... You can now use the supported icon fonts for your posts, pages and even for your theme’s template files.

Simply create or edit a post/page, and you'll notice a new "Icons" button in you post/page editor ...

... which will open a drop-down list with all the available icons:

Selecting an icon from this drop-down menu will insert the given icon font in the post/page editor. Simple as that ...

And don't forget, we are talking about fonts! In other words, you can easily change the size, color and alignment directly from your editor's toolbar:
