3) Adjust the Text and Image to Convey the right Messages
After selecting the right image, remember that canva has given you a template to use. The information on that image is not correct information for your audience. So it is time to adjust the text, edit the text and add in your own desired text. Alongside we will format the text to our desired outlook. It will help make your image unique and related to your brand.
The first thing I will like to do is to select a font for your text, next select colour and font size.
It can be challenging but selecting colours but sticking with those that are consistent with your brand can be a way out. As shown below, you can easily select colours that speak your brand. You do not have to use the same colour in all your post, but you can choose related colours to help your brand stand out.
Consistency with colours is a great way to create an identity for your brand. It helps your followers easily identify your work at a glance. Irrespective of which platform they are browsing, they can easily tell when it is you.
Talking about fonts, canva has about a hundred fonts, if you cannot find the exact one, its advisable you choose one close to your existing content for uniformity. Ensure the text are legible and easy to read.
Image Filter
You can also work on the image and fine-tune it a little to your taste. This you can achieve by applying filters. Applying a specific filter across your work is another way to stay unique and make your work easily recognizable.
Applying filters is not difficult, select the desired image and a list of option will pop up. It will include a filter. You can select any of the filters that are displayed; each filter comes with intensity. You can use the slider on the filter to determine the intensity of the filter.
Using pictures that are eye-catching in our content is not negotiable. Images of people smiling and pets like dogs are known to do very well. Also, the ability to use contrasting colours will help your content. Investing a little more time in creating good visuals will help promote your work. Canva is a great tool to help tweak your picture to the desired quality.
