Converting to Leads and Sales

We are now on the home stretch. This is where the FB boosted post campaign starts to pay off.

Step 1 - Turn engagement into followers / an audience

We covered this in the previous lesson. All you are doing is inviting those who engaged with your Facebook boosted post to Like / Follow your FB page.

Step 2 - Begin to Engage Your Audience BUT Try to Send Them to Your Site

The second part is that you begin to engage your audience with the content on your website.

Here, you basically take your three best pieces, and create a dozen or so posts that you can share with your audience once per day (see later for ideas).

Here's an example:

Notice the following:

  1. If you copy the URL of your blog post into a FB status post, it will pull in the Featured Image as well as the URL of your site and the title. For this reason, make sure these are exactly what you want.
  2. If you copy the URL of your post, the image will link directly back to the post. Lots of folks intuitively click the image, so this is a good thing.

The key here is that you begin to interact with your audience on a consistent basis.

Remember this, your website is the core of your business HOWEVER, it may take you 3-6 months to start getting visitors to your site. With a FB boosted post and a Facebook page, you can start to engage that amount of people in a weekend by spending about $50.

Reuse Your Content

One or two pieces of good content can be repurposed to create dozens and dozens of Facebook posts:

  1. Use the headline of your article
  2. Pull out one or two quotes from the article
  3. Create an image quote with Canva
  4. Summarize the article
  5. Summarize one of the principles of the article

Supercharging Your Conversions

Ultimately, what will drive conversions (leads and sales) has as much to do with your offer (it must be good) as it does with you (as the trusted source of that offer).

One of the strategies I used immediately after building up an audience on my Facebook page was to create a series of live trainings.

You can see the invite here, which became a Facebook post.

While this is a more advanced strategy, the biggest obstacle has to do with CONFIDENCE and the way to have that confidence is by knowing your subject.

I have been teaching these topics for a while now, and so I feel comfortable teaching what I know and love.

NOTE: If live is too scary, simply record a video of the relevant information and use that. Remember to always include an offer at the end so your audience knows where they can purchase more of what they just received.

Build the Know, Like and Trust Factor

You will often hear marketers say, "People buy from those they KNOW, LIKE and TRUST."

Your website with useful and relevant information is part of that strategy. However, there is nothing quite like your interested audience seeing you share the information IN PERSON.

It gives you credibility, for one, and secondly, it allows people to see your personality. But the biggest benefit is that it builds INSTANT TRUST. This is especially the case if you show genuine concern for your audience and you strive to serve them in the best way possible.

When you do this, you no longer have to sell.

At the end of our first Zoom training, I told folks about our signature course, which was basically all the information they would get over the next 8 weeks, but on video, that they could watch at their own pace.

Two people bought immediately (@ $49). This is not much in the grand scheme, but there are 7 more trainings to go and our FB page audience continues to grow.

Summary

Here is the summary of the FB boosted post strategy:

  1. Get your assets in order (website, lead capture, offers, Facebook page)
  2. Create a relevant post for your audience with a compelling image
  3. Boost your post to an audience with the right demographics
  4. Invite anyone who engages with your post to Like / Follow your page
  5. Engage your audience on your Facebook page with content from your website
  6. Provide a series of live trainings with an offer at the end

The Facebook boosted post strategy allowed us to begin interacting with 250 interested folks at a cost of roughly $0.10 per follower, Now, our Facebook page posts routinely receive a ton of engagements (without the boost) and we are slowly building our relationship with this interested audience.

Here's to your success!
