Using the SemRush ToolBar

Once the SemRush Toolbar is installed, you will see the icon on the far right hand corner of the screen as shown below:

The extension displays the SemRush page rank for the current page. That is the tiny number shown on top of the icon.

Information Shown

When you first click on the icon, it will want to analyze the exact website you are currently viewing, so go to your own website you are working on and enter the domain name in the box along the top as shown here:

You will then be directed to a page that looks like this. SemRush provides information on organic search, PPC (Pay Per Click) or CPC (Cost Per Click) and backlinks. You will also see the top organic keywords towards the bottom of the screen. Spend some time taking in the information because it can be hard to understand what you are looking at when you first view your site's data.
