Capture ScreenShot Lite
Let's start with theCapture Screenshot Lite tool.
- Step 1: Install the program
To get started you have to download the program, so just google: "Capture Screenshot lite softonic" and you will find it. I always download from softonic to be sure that I'm safe.
- Step 2: Take a screenshot
If you have installed the program this icon should appear on your Desktop:
Double click on it and this small window will open:
Note: I actually like to have it pinned on my taskbar so I can reach it more easily. Just a tip :)
Next step is to click on the scissors:
When you have done that, you will notice that your screen light will darken just a little bit and the cursor of your mouse will be transformed into a cross.
Click and drag that cross selecting the part of the screen you want to take a screenshot of.
When you release the left button of your mouse, a new window will automatically open with the screenshot you just took. Mine looks like this:
- Step 3: Edit your screenshot
There are two ways you can edit your screenshot; by drawing and by highlighting.
If you want to draw something on your image you just need to click on the Pen image and start drawing.
If you want to change the color and the thickness of your pen click on the little arrow beside the pen and then choose "Custom Pen"
This small window will open, where you will be able to choose any color and thickness you wish.
If you want to highlight something on your image you just have to choose the Highlighter Marker. On this option you cannot unfortunately change the color. It just comes in yellow.
You have also the option of the Eraser, Undo and Redo.
- Step 4: Save your screenshot
Last thing left to do is to save your image. Click on "File" >> "Save as" or on the disc icon.
A small window will open. Choose the name of your new file and where you want it to be saved and you're done! :) :) :)
On Next Page I am going to show you how to take a screenshot using the build in tools in Windows!
These are great tips and I will try with both the above as well!
