Submitting Sitemaps from your dashboard

This can be done by submitting from within the dash board for your site in Webmaster Tools.

Look for sitemaps widget, then click Submit a sitemap

This will show a text box in which you can enter the location of your sitmap file.

Location of sitemap will look like:

EXAMPLE: http:www.contoso.com/site.xlm

If it is an XLM Sitemap orhttp:/www.com/sitemap.txt if you've created a text file instead.

NOTE:

Either type will work equally well!

After you have submitted the sitemap, the sitemap will be added to the list of sitmaps.
