6. Add links to content into your sidebar everyone will love. If your design includes a sidebar that remains throughout your website, then include links on that sidebar that everyone would enjoy.

For example, a new visitor could end up on any page within your website without knowing anything about you, so you could have an About Me/selfie widget or an About My Company page linked to the sidebar.

How to create a selfie widget

Or add a first time guide or a FAQ page for your visitors

7. Open External Links always in New Windows, add a target blank

https://example.com"

or check the box

8. Add an internal link to your pictures or set them to none.

or set pictures to none.

9. Offer a Helpful 404 Page, Oops, this page doesn't exist is not helpful. Add an image/ link to 404 and redirect it to your homepage.

Customize your 404 and redirect to your homepage

10. Split up long posts. Create a 2 page article :)

Or add a "read more"....a "read specifications"... a "read 5 customer reviews"...

Be creative!

On almost every post you can deepen subjects, e.g. add a product specification or create a special post for testimonials/ client reviews for a product.

Remember to put a Go Back Button on your specification/ customer review page.
