Remove Popups
Some veteran bloggers are fond of using some highly-frustrating popups on their sites. Experientially, it lures readers away from your site and makes them decide never to come back in a lifetime.
If you have some important information you want to pass across to your ideal target audience, there are better ways to do that rather than enunciating your readers with popups.
Add Meta Tags to All of Your Posts
Do you use meta tags in your content? Meta tags are used to make users get you found easily in search results. But they have to be closely relevant and related to the content to which they're being added.
Increase the Trust Flow
As you continue building trust, you’ll grow your blog audience and this will eventually reduce the bounce rate for your website. You’ll, of course, see the positive effects in your search engine ranking. All these will count in what determines Google PageRank.
Trust flow and Trust metrics are also part of what determines your PR quality and the strength of your ranking.
Set All Outbound Links to Open in a New Tab
Do you use outbound links in your blog posts to link similar/related posts with your content? This is a usual practice observed by the pros as it helps to boost traffic and more following organically.
Outbound links are embedded within posts when it’s necessary to refer readers to other important similar posts and it has no implication as far as ranking your site in search results is concerned.
Thanks for this training. I have a better understanding of bounce rate now. If only I could wrap my head around keywords.
