Deactivate Unneeded Plug-ins
There have been several arguments as to whether too many plugins can affect the loading speed of a website negatively or not. On a neutral ground, an average of 4-5 plug-ins installed per site will not have any negative effect on the page load speed at all.
That said, I’ve seen people who tried to prove it wrong claiming that they have 10 plug-ins or more installed on their sites and, yet, pages are loading fast. What they don’t basically understand about many plugins being installed is that these tools insert too many codes into a website which is capable of retarding the page load speed.
Another reason your page load speed may be affected negatively if too many plug-ins are installed is that some of these tools might have gone out of date and might need to be updated again for them to continue functioning normally on your site.
If there are plugins that are not really useful, don’t hesitate to deactivate or uninstall such to give your website more breathing space to load faster.
