Hello, My name is Jennifer
I wanted to take a few minutes to show you how to make a menu Item that is not clickable.
Have you ever came across a website, and couldn't click on the category within, the menu? I found out how to do it not that long ago, and now I am sharing with you what I learned. :)
Creating a none clickable item within your menu can be a bit difficult if you are totally new to building a website.
We will be going through the steps together.
Hopefully, you will find my tutorial useful, as this is my first one. If all goes well, then I'll create a few more as I learn.
Feel free to share, or ask question if there, is something that might be confuesing, I tried my hardest to make it as easy as possible to understand, but sometimes my fingers get ahead of myself. If you are more of a visual learner then you can head over to my latest video on how to make a menu item not clickable. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/how-to-ma...
Step (1) Log into your WordPress Control Panel
Step (2) Click on Appearance, then click on (Menu)
Alright, now we are moving forward to Step (3) Look on the left side of the page, look for a "widget" called (links) which is right under pages.
Just what I needed. I was searching for the place that I have to add # to in order to make a page that links to nothing, then I realized that I have to create a link instead of a page.
Thank you for your training. It was really helpful.
I'd be happy to follow.
Perhaps you can help with a different problem: if I downloaded a clickbank vendor banner to my website, how do I put my clickbank vendor id inside the banner? Clickbank text links are no problem.
Using the banner, I have the alt and src parameters pointing to my website. If I try to take these out, the picture will disappear. Have you run into this problem before? If so, do you have a tutorial on it?
Thanks.
John
