Once you have saved your settings, go to Appearance => Widgets, and click on any widget that you want to show or hide.
You'll notice a newly added "Widget Context" drop-down list with four default options:
The "Show widget everywhere" and "Hide widget everywhere" options are very straightforforward.
Now let's say, that you want to hide the given widget on selected posts, pages, archives, URLs, etc ... In this case you'll have to choose "Hide widget on selected" ... and you'll see a bunch of new options, that will allow you to easily hide the widget wherever you want:
And that's all! Once you are happy with your choices, click the "Save" button and you are done ... You can now visit your site to see the plugin in action.
As you can see, it's extremely easy to avoid any form of "desperate and annoying marketing" ...
And believe me, your readers will be more than grateful ...
